Order Tracking
Order Tracking
At South African Pharmacy (SA Pharmacy), we understand that tracking your order—especially an international shipment—is important. This page explains how order tracking works, what updates you can expect, and what to do if your tracking appears delayed or inactive.
When You Will Receive Tracking Information
Once your order has been:
-
Reviewed,
-
Packed, and
-
Dispatched from South Africa,
you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Where available, this email will include a tracking number and instructions on how to follow your shipment.
Please note: Tracking availability depends on the shipping method and destination country.
How to Track Your Order
You can track your order by:
-
Clicking the tracking link provided in your shipping confirmation email, or
-
Entering your tracking number on the carrier’s website indicated in the email.
For some destinations, tracking may initially show limited information until the parcel reaches your country.
What to Expect From Tracking Updates
International tracking often occurs in stages:
-
Stage 1 – Dispatched from South Africa
Your parcel has left our facility and entered international transit. -
Stage 2 – In Transit
The parcel is moving between international hubs. Updates may be infrequent during this stage. -
Stage 3 – Arrived in Destination Country
The parcel has arrived and is awaiting or undergoing customs clearance. -
Stage 4 – Out for Delivery
The parcel has been released by customs and handed to a local carrier for final delivery.
Delays between updates are common and do not necessarily indicate a problem.
Why Tracking May Appear Inactive
It is normal for tracking to show limited or no updates for periods of time due to:
-
International transit between countries
-
Customs processing
-
Limited tracking capabilities of some postal services
-
Weekends and public holidays
Tracking typically updates again once the parcel reaches your local delivery network.
Customs & Tracking
Please be aware:
-
Customs inspections are not always reflected in tracking updates
-
Customs may hold parcels without updating tracking status
-
SA Pharmacy cannot influence customs timelines or decisions
If customs requires action from you, they or your local carrier will contact you directly.
