Directions for Use

  1. Prepare: Wash hands with warm, soapy water and dry them completely. Prepare the lancing device with a new lancet.
  2. Insert Strip: Insert an Accu-Chek Active Test Strip into the meter in the direction of the arrows. The meter will turn on automatically.
  3. Lancing: Use the Softclix device to prick the side of a fingertip (less sensitive than the pad).
  4. Apply Blood: Touch the blood drop to the green square in the center of the test strip.
  5. Read: The result appears on the screen in 5 seconds. Discard the used strip and lancet safely.

Warnings / Safety Information

  • Strip Compatibility: This meter only works with Accu-Chek Active test strips. It is not compatible with Instant or Guide strips.
  • Hygiene: The meter and lancing device are for single-person use only to avoid cross-contamination.
  • Storage of Strips: Close the strip container tightly immediately after removing a strip. Exposure to humidity will damage the enzymes on the strips.
  • Check Expiry: Never use test strips past their expiration date as they will provide inaccurate results.
  • HI/LO Readings: If the meter displays "HI" (Above 33.3 mmol/L) or "LO" (Below 0.6 mmol/L), seek medical attention immediately.
