Directions for Use

  • Preparation: Soften the corn or callus by bathing the foot in warm water for 5 minutes. Dry thoroughly.

     

  • Protection: It is essential to protect the healthy skin surrounding the corn. Do this by applying a layer of Vaseline around the corn or by using a corn ring/adhesive plaster with a hole cut in the center.

     

  • Application: Apply the Kroko ointment directly onto the exposed corn/callus in the center of the protected area.

     

  • Cover: Cover the treated area with a second piece of adhesive plaster.

     

  • Frequency: Change the dressing and reapply the ointment every second day.

     

  • Completion: The corn will typically begin to peel off by the 8th day. Continue until removed, but do not use for longer than 14 days consecutively.

     

Warnings / Contraindications

  • Diabetes & Circulation: DO NOT USE if you are diabetic or have poor blood circulation, as these conditions increase the risk of foot ulcers and poor healing.

     

  • Healthy Skin: Avoid contact with healthy skin, as the acids will cause irritation and "burning" of normal tissue.

     

  • Area Restrictions: Do not use on the face, near the eyes, or on birthmarks, moles, or warts with hair growing from them.

     

  • Infection: Do not apply to skin that is already irritated, reddened, or infected.

     

  • Age Restriction: Not recommended for use on infants or very young children without medical advice.
