The kit includes a mild saline solution to thin out thick mucus and a soft-tip aspirator to physically remove it. Because the formula is alcohol-free and drug-free, it is safe to use from birth and does not cause the "rebound congestion" often associated with medicated decongestant sprays.

Directions for Use

  • Step 1 (Thin): Lay the baby on their back. Use the dropper or spray to place 1 to 2 drops/sprays into each nostril. Wait about 1–2 minutes to allow the saline to thin the mucus.
  • Step 2 (Prep Aspirator): Squeeze the bulb of the aspirator before placing it at the nostril to expel the air.
  • Step 3 (Suction): Gently place the soft tip at the entrance of the nostril (do not push it deep inside). Slowly release the bulb to create suction and draw out the mucus.
  • Step 4 (Clean): Squeeze the mucus out of the bulb onto a tissue. Repeat for the other nostril if necessary.
  • Frequency: Can be used as often as needed, but it is most effective approximately 15 minutes before feeding or bedtime.

Warnings / Safety Information

  • Aspirator Safety: NEVER squeeze the bulb while the tip is already inside the baby's nose, as this blows air into the nasal cavity.
  • Adult Supervision: Only to be used by an adult. Keep the aspirator out of the reach of children to avoid choking hazards.
