Description
ENO Active Fruit Salts Orange 100g quickly negates the effects of stomach acid. It also helps with fast relief from flatulence, indigestion and heartburn.
Detailed Description:
Indications: as an antacid: e.g. for the fast relief of indigestion, heartburn and flatulence. As a urinary alkaliniser to alleviate symptoms associated with inflammatory conditions of the bladder. If required, to prevent crystalluria during treatment with sulphonamides.
Identification: pale orange, free flowing powder. Presentation: bottles containing 100 g and 200 g. packs of 72 sachets. Travel packs of 10 sachets.
Scheduling status: proprietary name and dosage form: ENO active fruit salt orange flavour (powder).
Composition: each 5.0 g dose contains: sodium bicarbonate 2.29 g, anhydrous citric acid 2.16 g sodium carbonate 0.50 g.
Pharmacological classification: A 11.4 antacids.
Pharmacological action: ENO active fruit salt has antacid activity and renders the urine less acidic, after metabolism.
