Description
Eno Active Fruit Salts Lemon quickly and effectiveky negates the effects of stomach acid. It also helps with fast relief from flatulence, indigestion and heartburn.
Detailed Description:
Indications: as an antacid: e.g. for the fast relief of indigestion, heartburn and flatulence. As a urinary-alkaliniser to alleviate symptoms associated with, inflammatory conditions of the bladder. If required, to prevent crystalluria during treatment with sulphonamides.
Identification: white, free flowing powder.
Proprietary name and dosage form: Eno active fruit salt lemon (powder).
Composition: each 5.0 g dose contains: sodium bicarbonate, 2.32 g, anhydrous citric acid 2.18 g, sodium carbonate 0.50 g.
Pharmacological classification: A 11.4 antacids. Pharmacological action: Eno active fruit salt has antacid activity and renders the urine less acidic, after metabolism.
