These lozenges are made using hand-harvested fragrant green shoots taken only from the lower branches of Norway Spruce trees (Picea abies) so as not to limit their growth and ensure sustainable cultivation. Honey and fruit juice concentrate are added to the pine syrup to make a very palatable lozenge.

Alfred Vogel, who spent many hours walking and working in the Swiss countryside, enjoyed collecting and eating pine buds on his walks.
