Flusin C Syrup is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

Flusin C Syrup Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology


Flusin C Syrup improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:

  • Both providing ascorbic acid and reversibly oxidizing to dehydroascorbic acid in the body.
  • Causing narrowing of the blood vessels and reduces swelling in the nasal passages.
  • Blocking H1-receptor sites on tissues.

 


Flusin C Syrup - Composition and Active Ingredients


Flusin C Syrup is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)

  • Ascorbic Acid - Vitamin C 50Mg/5Ml
  • Pseudoephedrine - 25Mg/5Ml
  • Chlorphenamine - 2Mg/5Ml

 


Flusin C Syrup - Side-effects


The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Flusin C Syrup. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious.

Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

  • Temporary faintness
  • Dizziness
  • Injection site soreness
  • Restlessness
  • Nausea
  • Unable to sleep

 


Flusin C Syrup - Precautions & How to Use


Before using Flusin C Syrup, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition.

Flusin C Syrup - Contraindications


Hypersensitivity to Flusin C Syrup is a contraindication. In addition, Flusin C Syrup should not be used if you have the following conditions:

  • Allergic reactions
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Hypertension
  • No contraindications to administration of ascorbic acid
  • Phaeochromocytoma
