Flomist Nasal Spray is used for Stuffy/runny nose, Seasonal and year-round allergic, Pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses, Itching and sneezing, Inflammatory manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses and other conditions.
- Flomist Nasal Spray contains Fluticasone Propionate Topical as an active ingredient.
- Flomist Nasal Spray works by controlling the biosynthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
Flomist Nasal Spray Uses
Flomist Nasal Spray is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
- Stuffy/runny nose
- Seasonal and year-round allergic
- Pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses
- Itching and sneezing
- Inflammatory manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses
- Flomist Nasal Spray may also be used for purposes not listed here.
Flomist Nasal Spray Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology
Flomist Nasal Spray improves the patient’s condition by performing the following functions:
- Controlling the biosynthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
Flomist Nasal Spray – Composition and Active Ingredients
Flomist Nasal Spray is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)
- Fluticasone Propionate Topical – 50 Mcg
General Instructions
Inhaler/Nasal spray: Use this medicine exactly as advised by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side effects. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor. Topical forms: Apply a thin layer of the medicine to the affected area as instructed by the doctor. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. Do not apply in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless specifically instructed by the doctor. Contact your doctor if symptoms do not improve or resolve after 2 weeks of use.

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Flomist Nasal Spray. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious.
