Gen-Payne Capsule Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology


Gen-Payne Capsule improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
Broken down by the liver into morphine.
Blocking the production of a prostaglandin that is released in the body during pain.
Increasing the pain threshold and increases the blood flow across the skin, heat loss and sweating.


Gen-Payne Capsule - Composition and Active Ingredients



Gen-Payne Capsule is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)

  • Codeine Phosphate - 10Mg
  • Ibuprofen - 200Mg
  • Paracetamol - 250Mg


Gen-Payne Capsule - Side-effects

Gen-Payne Capsule - Precautions & How to Use


Before using Gen-Payne Capsule, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Gen-Payne Capsule - Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Gen-Payne Capsule is a contraindication. In addition, Gen-Payne Capsule should not be used if you have the following conditions:

  • Active peptic ulcer
  • Acute or severe bronchial asthma
  • Aspirin
  • Breastfeeding
  • Gastrointestinal bleeding
  • Hepatic impairment
